- 3 to 4 lb. roast
- 1 onion, cut
- potatoes
- carrots
- salt
- garlic powder
Directions

1Wash the roast good under cool, running water.

2Place in a large deep Corning dish.

3Add onion for seasoning, garlic powder and other vegetables, as you prefer.

4Add about an inch of water to dish.

5Heat on a burner.

6Have oven hot, ready to cook roast, for about 1 1/2 hours.

7Put foil over the top of the roaster and place lid on.

8Place in hot oven; continue cooking until done.
