- 3 lb. cut up beef (stew, round, chuck)
- 3/4 c. chopped celery
- 2 large onions
- carrots and potatoes (as many as you like)
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Dissolve the sugar and flour in the tomato juice.

2Put meat and vegetables in casserole or covered baking dish.

3Pour tomatoes, flour and sugar over meat and cook covered for 5 hours at 250°.
