Beef Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. herb stuffing
  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak, thinly sliced, 1/4 inch thick
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening or oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 to 1/3 c. water

Directions

    Prepare stuffing as directed on package.

    Cut steak in long pieces, about 1 1/2 x 3-inches.

    Put about 1 or 2 tablespoons of stuffing in center of meat and roll up and fasten with toothpick. In skillet brown roll-ups in oil.

    Pour off excess oil.

    Combine soup and water, add meat roll-ups.

    Cover and cook over low heat 1 hour or until done.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
