- round steak, cut thin (have meat cut when extremely cold; 3 lb. feeds 7 people)
- 1 1/2 onions, diced
- good bacon (1 lb.), diced
- salt and pepper
- green and red pepper, diced
- 4 pkg. brown gravy
- 2 pkg. mushroom gravy
Directions

1One layer of onion, one layer of bacon and one layer of peppers in each piece of meat.

2Roll up and tie with thread. Brown on both sides in 2 kettles.

3Make four packages of brown gravy and two packages of mushroom gravy.

4Add to meat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
