- 6 to 8 roulade
- 6 to 8 bacon slices
- onion
- salt and pepper
- sweet pickles
- Gulden mustard
Directions

1Tenderize meat with a meat mallet.

2Sprinkle each side with salt and pepper.

3Spread some mustard on one side of meat.

4Lay a strip of bacon on the meat.

5Cut pickles into julienne strips and place five or 6 strips of pickles on the bacon.

6Roll it up and secure with a toothpick at each end.

7Brown onion and meat rolls in a large skillet.

8When well browned, add enough water to the skillet to cover the meatballs.

9Cook for 1 1/2 hours on medium heat.

10Add water as necessary to keep meat covered.

11Serve with knodel or noodles.
