- 1 1/2 lb round steak or trimmed stew beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 pkg. dehydrated onion soup
- 1/2 c. sherry cooking wine
- fresh mushrooms to taste
- butter to saute
Directions

1Cut beef (I use stew beef) into bite sized pieces.

2Do NOT braise.

3Combine the beef with soups and sherry.

4Pour into buttered casserole and cover. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Clean slice, and saute mushrooms in butter.

5Add to casserole about 1/2 hour before serving.

6Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
