  • 2 lb. cubed stew beef
  • 3 to 4 potatoes, cut in large pieces
  • 3 to 4 onions
  • 1 bunch sliced carrots
  • 1 pkg. onion soup
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1/2 c. water or red wine

Directions

    Layer the first 4 ingredients in a large Pyrex dish or Dutch oven.

    Combine remaining ingredients; pour mixture over meat and vegetables.

    Cover and cook at 250° for 3 1/2 hours.
