  • 1 to 2 lb. stew beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3 to 6 carrots, sliced
  • 1 stick celery, sliced
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 c. tomato juice
  • 2 tsp. salt

    Cut beef into bite size chunks; arrange in Pyrex dish.

    Cover with vegetables.

    Sprinkle with sugar, tapioca and salt.
