  • 4 c. apples, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. white or brown sugar

Directions

    Put apples in deep, buttered baking dish.

    Add 1/2 cup water. Mix cinnamon, flour, sugar and butter with pastry blender or fork; pat over the apples.

    Bake at 350° until the crust is brown and apples are tender, about 30 minutes.
