- 3 lb. stew beef
- 1/2 pkg. baby carrots
- 2 large onions, quartered
- 4 to 5 stalks celery, cut up
- 8 to 10 potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 pkg. French's beef stew mix
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown beef in a little oil until very brown.

2Add the beef stew mix, salt and pepper and cook a little longer.

3(May stick to bottom of put but that's okay.)

4Add carrots, celery and onions. Add water but pot should be no more than 3/4's full.

5Cook for about 1 hour until meat is tender.

6After cooker has cooled, add the potatoes.

7Cook until done.

8Using 1/2 cup flour, salt, pepper and enough milk to make a smooth paste, add to the stew and mix well.

9More milk may be used to make more gravy.
