  • 3 lb. beef, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
  • 1 can Burgundy red wine
  • 1 can boiling water

Directions

    Brown meat in butter.

    Put into baking dish.

    Pour water into pan to get juices from the brownings.

    Pour over meat.

    Add wine and soups.

    Bake at 325° for 2 hours.

    Add vegetables (carrots, onions, peas and potatoes).

    Bake 1 hour more.
