- 2 lb. beef chuck roast
- 2 medium onions
- 1 lb. carrots
- 16 oz. can tomatoes
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 5 medium potatoes
Directions

1Cube beef and saute in small amount of oil.

2Place beef, sliced onions, carrots and tomatoes in a crock-pot.

3Add water and spices.

4Cook for 2 hours. Add potatoes that have been quartered. Continue cooking until tender.
