- 1 lb. lean beef steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 4 c. cooked rice or cooked noodles
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. beef broth
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Cut meat into thin strips.

2Lightly salt and pepper.

3Dredge in flour.

4Heat oil in a large skillet.

5Brown meat.

6Add onion, garlic, broth, thyme and liquid from mushrooms.

7Cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until meat is tender.

8Slice mushrooms and add.

9Cook 10 minutes.

10Stir in sour cream.

11Turn heat off and allow sour cream to heat through.

12Do not boil.

13Serve over hot rice or noodles.
