  • 2 lbs. tenderloin or sirloin tips
  • 1/4 C. oil
  • 1 lrg. onion, diced coarse
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. galic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic
  • 1 C. water or beef broth
  • 1/2 C. Heinz 57 Sauce
  • 1/2 C. Burgundy (optional) or water
  • 16 oz. sour cream

    Saute beef tips in a skillet until browned.

    Add onions and mushrooms and saute another 5 minutes.

    Add water, salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic.
