  • 1 can unsweetened fruit (cherries, strawberries, blackberries or peaches)
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. milk

    Heat fruit and 2/3 cup sugar.

    Melt margarine in baking dish. Mix a batter of 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour batter
