- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cans French onion soup
- 3 lb. beef cubes
- 1 large jar mushrooms, drained
- 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. sage
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- chili sauce
Directions

1Soak crumbs in milk.

2Add remaining ingredients, except chili sauce.

3Mix well and pack into 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan to shape.

4Invert on shallow baking pan.

5Score loaf diagonally with handle of wooden spoon.

6Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 1 hour.

7Fill scored marks on top with chili sauce.

8Bake 15 minutes longer.
