- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cubed small
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 c. sour cream
- 4 Tbsp. ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Put steak and mushrooms in heavy skillet; add onion and garlic.

2Cover and cook over low heat, stirring, 15 minutes.

3Add 1/2 can beef broth and ketchup.

4Cover and simmer for 1/2 hour or until meat is tender.

5Mix flour with remaining broth.

6May add salt, pepper or other spice.

7Slowly stir flour mixture into meat; cook until thick.

8Remove.

9Add sour cream; serve over rice or broad noodles or toast.
