  • 1 lb. round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. cooking oil
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion and mushroom soup mix
  • 8 oz. pkg. egg noodles, cooked
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown cubed steak with chopped onion until onion is tender and meat is browned on all sides.

    Add water and simmer covered for 5 minutes.

    Stir in soup mix and sour cream, salt and pepper.

    Cook until thickened.

    Serve over egg noodles.
