- 1 1/2 lb. beef round, cut in 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 beef bouillon cubes with 8 oz. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 c. (4 oz. can) sliced mushrooms with liquid
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 4 1/2 c. (6 oz.) wide egg noodles
Directions

1Saute beef cubes and onion in butter until meat is browned. Add bouillon and Worcestershire sauce.

2Cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.

3Add mushrooms with liquid.

4Combine sour cream and flour; blend into meat mixture. Cook 5 minutes or until sauce is thickened.

5Cook noodles and drain.

6Serve stroganoff over noodles.

7Makes 4 servings.
