- 1 boneless sirloin steak (1 1/2-inches thick)
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can condensed beef broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
- hot cooked rice
Directions

1Trim away any excess fat from steak and cut into 1/4 slices. Heat a large skillet until very hot with about 1 tablespoon butter and swirl to coat bottom of pan.

2Pan fry beef strips, a few at a time, 1 minute on each side or until steak is as done as you like it.

3Add remaining butter to skillet and stir in onions.

4Saute about 5 minutes.

5Push to 1 side, stir in mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes.

6Add beef broth and salt and simmer 5 minutes.
