- 1 lb. beef tenderloin or sirloin steak (1/2-inch thick)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 to 4 c. hot cooked noodles
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Cut meat across grain into 1/2-inch strips, 1 1/2 inches long. Melt butter in skillet.

2Add mushrooms and onion and cook until onion is tender.

3Remove from skillet.

4In same skillet, cook meat until light brown.

5Reserving 1/3 cup of broth, stir in remaining broth, the catsup, garlic and salt.

6Cover; simmer 15 minutes. Blend reserved broth and flour; stir into meat mixture.

7Add mushrooms and onion.

8Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

9Boil and stir 1 minute.

10Reduce heat.

11Stir in sour cream.

12Heat and serve over noodles.
