- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can vegetable soup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
Directions

1Brown beef with onions in skillet.

2Stir in tomato, vegetable soup and water.

3Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer while preparing biscuits.

4Mix flour and shortening into coarse crumbs. Stir in Italian seasonings and blend in enough milk to make into a batter.

5Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls in mixture.

6Bake in hot oven at 425° for 15 to 18 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
