Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 lb. lean cubed or sirloin round steak
  • 1 clove chopped garlic or garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. crumbled rosemary leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. basil leaves
  • dash of ground oregano
  • 1/3 c. Marsala cooking wine
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Quickly brown cubed or sirloin steak in 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add garlic during last 30 seconds of browning. Add liquid ingredients and seasonings. Simmer 30 minutes. The last 5 minutes, add 1/4 pound fresh sliced mushrooms and garnish with 2 green onions. Serve with side dish of pasta.
