  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 ounces shell pasta, uncooked
  • 2 14 cups water
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar salsa con queso (mild, medium, or hot depending on personal taste)
  • 1 -2 teaspoon chili powder (more or less to suit your taste)

    In a skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink.

    Drain.

    Return ground beef to skillet.

    Add shell pasta, and water.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and cover pan.

    Simmer pasta and beef for 10 minutes or until pasta is tender and water is absorbed.

    Remove from heat.

    Add salsa con queso and chili powder and mix well.
