- 1 can beer
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Pour beer into a bowl; add flour.

2Mixture will foam.

3Stir in salt, paprika and baking powder.

4If using to fry fruit, you may want to use cinnamon or nutmeg instead of paprika.

5Mixture will thicken as it stands.

6Make this at least 1 hour before using.

7It will keep in refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.

8Yield: about 2 1/2 cups batter.
