- 2 c. self-rising flour (if using all-purpose, add 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder)
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Mix flour and sugar.

3Stir in beer gently and mix until blended (do not overmix).

4Pour into well-greased loaf pan (dough will be lumpy).

5Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

6Drizzle with margarine. Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
