Ingredients

  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (12 oz.) can beer
  • 1 c. flour (regular)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    In a large bowl, mix the sifted self-rising flour and sugar. Add beer.

    It should be at room temperature.

    Mix with spoon. Pour into loaf pan (small) that has been greased with butter. Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.

    Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
