  • 4 1/2 c. raw nuts
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Boil on medium heat 25 to 30 minutes.

    Stir once or more to keep from burning.

    Boil until dry.

    Heat oven 300°, grease jelly roll pan and spread nuts in pan.

    Sprinkle coarse salt on nuts. Bake 20 minutes.

    Stir and salt again.

    Bake 20 minutes more.

    Stir so won't stick.

    Cool and store in container.
