  • 1 lb. (450 g) beets (about 3), peeled
  • 1/3 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Aged Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
  • 1 red onion, cut in 1-inch chunks
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin

Directions

    Cut beets into 1/4-inch-thick slices, then cut each slice into thirds.

    Add to large saucepan of boiling water; cook, partially covered, on medium-high heat 20 min.

    or just until beets are tender.

    Remove from pan; drain, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water.

    Heat dressing in same saucepan on medium heat.

    Add onions and garlic; cook 10 min.

    Add beets along with the cumin and reserved cooking water; cook and stir 2 min.
