- 1 lb. (450 g) beets (about 3), peeled
- 1/3 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Aged Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
- 1 red onion, cut in 1-inch chunks
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
Directions

1Cut beets into 1/4-inch-thick slices, then cut each slice into thirds.

2Add to large saucepan of boiling water; cook, partially covered, on medium-high heat 20 min.

3or just until beets are tender.

4Remove from pan; drain, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water.

5Heat dressing in same saucepan on medium heat.

6Add onions and garlic; cook 10 min.

7or until very tender, stirring occasionally.

8Add beets along with the cumin and reserved cooking water; cook and stir 2 min.

9or until heated through.
