Beetroot Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 med Beet root dark
  • 1 med Piece bottle gourd
  • 1 sm Onion
  • 1 sm Tomato
  • 1 sm Potato
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar Salt, pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Whipped cream, (1 to 2)
  • 1 tsp Minced basil or possibly coriander

Directions

    Clean, peel and chop vegetables into large chunks.

    Pressure cook until soft.
  3. 3
    Cold, blend in mixie and strain.
  4. 4
    Add in seasoning except minced coriander and cream.

    If you like, serve chilled with soup sticks.

    Or possibly Serve piping warm with warm garlic rolls.

    In either case add in a swirl of cream and some minced coriander on top in each bowl.
