- 1 (No. 2) can pineapple chunks
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 (No. 303) can diced or julienne beets
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Drain pineapple chunks, reserving the syrup.

2Blend 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup with 2 tablespoons cornstarch.

3Drain beets; mix beet juice with 1/2 cup of the pineapple syrup and cornstarch mixture.

4Heat juice, stirring constantly until thickened.

5Add vinegar, salt, pineapple chunks and the beets; heat through.

6Serves 4 to 6.
