Ingredients
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Mix 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar and salt in mixer bowl.

2Add butter and water; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

3Add egg and 1/2 cup flour; beat for 1 minute.

4Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough.

5Knead on floured surface for 5 minutes.

6Let rest, covered with plastic wrap and towel, for 20 minutes.

7Shape into rolls.

8Place on greased baking sheet.

9Brush with oil. Chill, covered, overnight.

10Let rise until doubled in bulk.

11Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes.

12Yields 12 servings.
