  • 5 pears
  • lemon juice to taste
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 package cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • vanilla ice cream

Directions

    Peel the pears, cut them in half, and scoop out the seeds.

    Cook in water with a few drops of lemon for just a few minutes until soft, but not broken.

    Add the sugar, and simmer for a few minutes.

    Beat the cream with the powdered sugar, and a few drops of lemon. Refrigerate.

    Break the chocolate into small pieces, add a little milk, and bring to boil in water bath, to melt.

    Serve small scoops of ice cream on each plate, add drained cold pears with the round side up, cover with cream, and pour the hot chocolate on top.

    Serve immediately.
