- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- lightly beaten egg white
Directions

1Mix flour with sugar in a large bowl.

2Cut in margarine until size of peas.

3Form with hands into a ball of dough.

4Press dough firmly in bottom and up sides of ungreased 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom.

5Brush bottom of pastry with lightly beaten egg white.

6Bake on center rack in preheated 375° oven for 18 to 20 minutes.

7Cool completely, then remove rim.
