Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, chilled and diced
  • 1 3/4 cup spelt flour
  • 3/4 cup ground almonds
  • 2/3 cup raw granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 None egg, beaten
  • 7 oz raspberries
  • 7 oz blackberries
  • None None vanilla sauce, warmed, to serve

Directions

    Cut butter into spelt flour. Add ground almonds, 1/2 cup sugar and ginger. Add egg and mix to form a crumbly streusel topping. Chill for 30 mins.

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix berries and remaining sugar in a shallow ovenproof dish and top with streusel. Bake for 25-30 mins until golden. Serve warm with vanilla sauce.
