- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. milk
Directions

1Blend 1/2 cup of butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl. Add eggs; using a wooden spoon, beat well.

2Combine flour, 1/3 cup of cocoa, baking powder and salt.

3Gradually blend into egg mixture and stir in nuts.

4Spread in greased 9-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from pan sides.

6Cool.
