Ingredients
- 6 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chopped nuts or almonds (optional)
Directions

1Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot water. Combine butter and powdered sugar in mixing bowl.

2Beat well until smooth and creamy.

3Beat yolks, one at a time, stirring constantly.

4Stir in chocolate, vanilla and nuts (if used).

5Chill until mixture is fairly thick, but not yet set.

6Drop mixture into small paper cups or spread on baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate until set.

7Cut chocolate on baking sheet into bite-size pieces.

8Makes about 30 pieces.

9Preparation time: 25 minutes.

10Chilling time: 1 hour.
