- 1 c. regular long-grain rice
- 1 qt. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Directions

1Rinse rice.

2Add to 1 quart water in heavy saucepan.

3Cook over low heat until the water is absorbed.

4Remove from heat.

5Add rest of ingredients and mix well.

6Pour into casserole dish.

7Bake in 350° oven for 40 minutes.
