  • 1 large head cabbage, grated
  • 7/8 c. sugar
  • 1 large sliced onion
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 2/3 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Mix together first 4 ingredients; let stand.

    Combine remaining ingredients.

    Bring mixture to boil and pour cabbage while hot.

    Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

    This will keep for a week or more in refrigerator.
