  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo
  • 1/2 c. dark Karo
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 pie shell

    Beat eggs; add sugar, Karo, butter, vanilla and salt.

    Mix well.

    Add nuts.

    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour and 1 tablespoon sugar in bottom of unbaked pie shell.

    Pour filling over sugar and flour.

    Bake 15 minutes at 450°.

    Reduce heat to 300° and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife in center comes out clean.
