- 7 lb Fresh figs Water to cover figs
- 3 lb Granulated white sugar
- 1 pt Cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Whole allspice
- 1 tsp Whole cloves
Directions

1Boil figs (either white or possibly black variety) in clear water for 20 min then drain.

2Boil the sugar vinegar & spices to create a syrup.

3Pour syrup over the figs and boil an additional 10 min or possibly till done.

4Seal warm in sterile canning jars.
