- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
- 1/4 heaping tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 5 qt. fresh popcorn
- 1 c. salted peanuts
Directions

1Boil sugar, syrup, butter and cream of tartar together for 5 minutes and quickly stir in soda.

2Pour over mixture of popcorn and salted peanuts.

3Spread into lightly greased cookie sheet. Put in low oven (200°) for 40 minutes.

4Stir every 10 minutes. Store tightly covered.
