  • 1 box (2 layer) cake
  • 1 (1 lb. or 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 c. whipping cream
  • flaked coconut

Directions

    Mix and bake in a 13 x 9-inch rectangular pan as directed on package.

    When cake is done, mix sugar and undrained pineapple in saucepan.

    Bring to a boil; let cool some.

    Poke holes in cake with a fork.

    Pour pineapple mixture over it.

    Prepare pudding as directed on package, then pour pudding over pineapple layer and refrigerate.

    Before serving, cover with whipping cream and coconut and/or nuts.
