Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 can tomato paste or tomato sauce
  • 3/4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • dash of hot sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • bell pepper, chopped (optional)

Directions

    Saute onion, celery and bell pepper in olive oil until soft white.

    Season meat; add and brown lightly.

    Add rest of ingredients; cook over low flame for 30 minutes.
