- 1 pound Thick Cut Bacon

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place slices of bacon in a single layer on the baking sheet with the edges just touching.

3Bake in the oven until bacon achieves desired level of crispness, roughly 10-15 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven and drain off excess grease. Remove bacon to paper towel-covered platter to finish draining.

5You can sprinkle some brown sugar on in the last 5 minutes of baking - yum!

6For extra large batches, use 2 baking sheets and swap shelf location halfway through.

7If you want to use thinner bacon, keep a close eye on it and shorten bake time if necessary.

8If you have an ovenproof wire cooling rack, you can place it in your baking sheet, thereby letting the grease drain off of the bacon as it cooks.
