Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. (18 slices) bacon, diced (optional)
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can butter or lima beans, drained
  • 2 (11 lb. 5 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1 lb. hamburger, cooked and drained (optional)

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    In a Dutch oven or large roaster, saute bacon and onions; drain.

    Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bake uncovered at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes, until hot and bubbly. Serves 16.
