  • 1 qt. tomato juice or whole tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. steak sauce
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Stir ingredients together and place over roast that has been placed in a big iron skillet or pan and sprinkled with meat tenderizer.

    Cover with lid or aluminum foil tightly.

    Bake in a 350° oven for approximately 3 hours.

    Potatoes, carrots, whole cloves and celery can be cooked in the same pan with beef.
