Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. light brown corn syrup
  • 6 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Melt butter.

    Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup.

    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

    Boil, without stirring, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in soda and vanilla.

    Pour over top of corn.

    Mix well.

    Turn on cookie sheet, pressing down.

    Bake at 250° for 30 to 45 minutes, turning after 15 minutes.

    Remove and cool.

    Break up and store in tightly covered container.
