- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 5 eggs, separated
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder, sifted with flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Blend margarine and Crisco until creamy.

2Add sugar gradually and continue creaming.

3Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Add flour and milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour.

5Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

6Add lemon and vanilla.

7Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
