- 2 to 3 stalks celery, diced
- 6 to 8 potatoes, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 to 2 carrots, shredded
- 2 qt. boiling water
- 2 doz. fresh clams with juice or 3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans
- 1 pt. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- parsley to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil vegetables in water about 1/2 hour or until soft.

2Add clams and juice.

3Cook fresh clams 8 to 10 minutes.

4Add milk, butter and spices to taste.
